Placenta Encapsulation and Tincture Preparation

Taking all due care with your precious placenta that has lovingly sustained your beautiful baby throughout pregnancy, I will prepare your placenta for steaming in the Traditional Chinese Method and then dry and encapsulate your placenta and turn it into a tincture so that it is easy for you to consume. Taking your placenta has a myriad of benefits including (but not limited to) easing Postpartum Depression, balancing hormones, helping with milk supply, helping return your uterus to pre-pregnancy state in a shorter amount of time, energy and increases how quickly you will heal.

A beautiful practice encompassing the healing properties of herbs and flowers that are steamed while you relax on the specially hand-crafted throne, meditation music is played soothingly in the background. Immerse yourself in the warmth and comfort of a thick blanket and let the steam integrate into the divine folds and caverns of your Yoni.

Ideally, we would conduct this practice after the baby is born and you are back at home, thus giving you an uninterrupted 30 mins of Bliss while I soothe and comfort your little one.

Meal Preparation – I have a passion for healthy eating but with balance and tonnes of flavour! I believe you should be eating the best you can in pregnancy and postpartum so that you can nourish your body and your baby. I am not classically trained however I have been cooking for my family for over 20 years and can accommodate large families and smaller families. I love vegetarian/plant-based and vegan food, seafood and small amounts of lean meats, bone broths and soups.

Postpartum Hours

Day Time 8am-5pm – $50p/h+travel and grouped for discounted rate – please ask

Night Time 5pm -8am – $65p/h+travel and grouped for discounted rate – please ask

I allow 30 minutes travel to a birth/postpartum visits/placenta pick up and drop off, (anything over this time allowance and not included in your package) will be charged at $45p/h or part thereof and invoiced afterwards.

Service Location

Based in Brisbane, Earth Aunty can travel from the Sunshine Coast down to Byron Bay, out west to Toowoomba and everywhere in between. If you are outside of this area and would like to be nurtured by Earth Aunty, please get in touch to discuss your location and services available. Earth Aunty will soon be offering virtual services.
